FMA was an excellent game.

I collected Pokemon cards when I was younger, and it was one of my favorite hobbies. It all started when I received my first pack of cards as a gift from a family member. I was immediately captivated by the colorful illustrations and unique characters. From then on, I made it my mission to collect as many cards as possible.

At first, I simply enjoyed the thrill of opening a new pack and discovering which cards I had received. But as my collection grew, I began to appreciate the strategic aspect of the game. I learned about the different types of Pokemon and their strengths and weaknesses, and I would spend hours organizing my cards and devising new battle strategies.

Collecting Pokemon cards was not just a fun pastime for me; it also taught me valuable skills such as organization, strategy, and patience. Even now, as an adult, I still have my collection of cards and enjoy looking through them from time to time. For me, collecting Pokemon cards will always hold a special place in my heart.



I envisioned a game set in a lush, fantastical realm called "Cluboria," where trainers could choose their Pokémon companions and battle using powerful clubs. The clubs would come in various sizes and styles, each with its own special abilities. For instance, a sturdy wooden club might be great for defense, while a sleek, metallic club could enhance attack speed. I decided to include a range of clubs, from the standard 3-foot wooden club to a massive 6-foot iron club that would require a higher level of strength to wield.

As I dove deeper into the game development process, I wanted to create an engaging storyline. I crafted a narrative where players would embark on a quest to unite the tribes of Cluboria, each represented by different Pokémon types. There were the Grass Warriors, led by a fierce Torterra, and the Fire Warriors, commanded by a fiery Charizard. I thought back to my childhood, where I would spend hours playing Pokémon games, and I wanted to capture that same sense of adventure and camaraderie.

One of the most outrageous moments during development occurred when I decided to host a small playtesting session with friends. I invited them over for a “Cluboria Battle Night,” complete with snacks and drinks. I set up my gaming console, and we gathered around to try out the game. I had created a mini-tournament where players could battle their Pokémon warriors using their clubs.

As the battles commenced, I watched in amusement as my friend Jake, a die-hard Pokémon fan, swung his club dramatically while shouting battle commands. At one point, he got so into it that he accidentally knocked over a lamp in my living room! The lamp toppled over, but thankfully, it didn’t break. We all erupted in laughter, and I realized that this kind of energy was exactly what I wanted my game to evoke. I ended up capturing the moment on video, and it became a highlight reel of our gaming night.

As the night went on, I received some fantastic feedback. My friend Lisa, who had never played a Pokémon game before, remarked, “This is so much fun! I love how you’ve combined the classic Pokémon elements with a warrior twist.” Her enthusiasm encouraged me to keep refining the gameplay mechanics.

I also decided to incorporate a leveling system that allowed players to upgrade their clubs and Pokémon as they progressed through the game. I wanted to create a sense of achievement, so I designed quests that would reward players with rare materials to craft better clubs. For example, players could gather materials to forge an “Elemental Club,” which would have different effects based on the Pokémon type they were battling against. This feature added a strategic layer to the gameplay that I hoped would keep players engaged.

To enhance the visuals, I used a vibrant color palette and detailed graphics that brought Cluboria to life. I remember spending hours perfecting the character designs and ensuring that each Pokémon warrior had a unique look and feel. I wanted players to feel connected to their Pokémon companions, so I included customizable features like club designs and warrior outfits.
