I use some tools for investing like charts that show the price history of assets. I can sometimes know if a price will break out by looking a the chart pattern. It is a skill. I am correct about 60 percent of the time.

I clicked through different time frames, from daily to weekly charts, I felt like a detective looking for clues. I paid special attention to the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, their lines snaking across the screen, sometimes crossing in what traders call a ‘death cross’ or a ‘golden cross’—ominous or auspicious signs depending on their direction.

I zoomed in on one particular stock that had caught my interest the previous week. Its price had been on a steady incline, and I was looking for signs of a continued uptrend or an impending reversal. The stock’s chart was a battleground of buyers and sellers, each candlestick telling a story of hope, fear, and greed.

I noted the support and resistance levels, drawing horizontal lines at key price points where the stock seemed to bounce back or retreat. These levels were like invisible barriers, psychological price points where traders’ decisions converged to create pivot points in the stock’s trajectory.

I also looked for familiar patterns, like the ‘head and shoulders’ or the ‘cup and handle,’ which could provide a narrative for future price movements. The intricacies of the chart were like a language I had learned to speak, each pattern a word, each trend a sentence in the ongoing story of the stock market.
